Spitalul de neuropsihiatrie
The Neuropsychiatry Hospital
  • Architecture – Eclectic
  • Built – 1902-1903
  • Architect – Rimánoczy Kálmán jr.
The neuropsychiatric hospital building in Oradea was designed by architect and contractor Kálmán Rimanóczy junior, winner of a national competition. The work was carried out in 1902-1903. The hospital building was proposed and realized in the pavilion system. Having an U planimetry, the building has three levels, and the main facade is dominated by central jutty, particularly monumental, not so much by it’s discrete decorative elements, but by its volumetry and its allure. In 2012, the pavilion 1 of the hospital was declared a historic monument.
