Palatul Levay
Levay Palace
  • Architecture – Eclectic
  • Built – 1894
  • Architect – Hanzlian

LEVAY Palace takes up the space at the intersection of Ferdinand and Libertății Squares, on the right bank of the Crişului Repede River. L-shaped, the building raised between 1892 and 1894 has a small axis given by three registers on the Ferdinand Square wing, while the large extension, of 14 registers, overlooks the bank of the river. The builder, architect Hazlián János, opted for the classical style, with some construction solutions which are proper to the early eclectic style.
