RIMANÓCZY HOTEL, situated at No. 8 Libertății Square, was built in two stages, between 1892, when the wing on the banks of the Criș River is built, and 1900, when the wing on Iosif Vulcan Street is constructed, and is the master work and property of architect Rimánoczy Kálmán sr. It is built in eclectic style. Occasional classical or neo-Renaissance elements can be observed. Inside the current restaurant, the renowned former Royal coffee-shop, the original Secession decorations are still preserved. At his death, the architect donates the building to the municipality through his last will and testament, expressing the wish that it keep the same name and the same function, as communal bathhouse.
